I got a trial version of paint shop pro so that I can add text to my games. I have 2 questions.
1.in pspro how do I make the backgorund transparent and leave just the text?

2.I have V1. I want to basicly have a story zone type place where it will display text that I want. Do I just do a tga from pspro and then just under story zone choose that file that my text is under?

You mean the message "Press enter to use" can be a video file?
If so, what format?

You could also use Macromedia Flash to animate text. Then save it as a image. it worked for me.
