Hey all. Here's my project.
PROJECT: Pc Reminder
AUTHOR: Nick Rakosi

This project is a Pc Reminder that allows you to set reminders to go off at a certain time, but while being only visible in the System Tray.
I will work on it some more in the coming week . You can change the alarm sound by clicking on where DEFAULT is underlined. Once all the forms have been filled in, click done, and it will minimise to system tray. To bring up the app to edit the reminder, double click the icon in the system tray. Once in tray, the alarm is active. When the time comes, the alarm will go off and the reminder will come up automatically.

Download it! (Click Download button at corner of this post)

@Peter_:

I don't think it's made in DarkBasic It dosn't look that way. Not even look like blueGui!
Maybe it's made in C# or c++? Or is it made in another basic language?

it is!!! It's dbp!!! No I'm not lying! . Use DLL's to take control of windows. My application is practically media-less (apart from a few little things) and that's about it. That's why it's 700Kb Rar'd. I'll give you the code for my excellent input:

I really wanna release the source to prove it's in dbp, but, this program is going into my main project called ORGANISE XP. It's a kinda personal organiser for your desktop. That project is commercial (in other words, when the main project is done I will put it on the market for £15.00 or so). If anyone wants to purchase the full source of this application for £10(negotiable price - source with full comments so you know what everything does), then please e-mail me at nrakosi@gmail.com for more info.

This program will be later improved with EVEN MORE features. Anyway....FEEDBACK PLEASE!
Thanks!
Nick

Nope . I am a guy who likes to save money (err...in other words...a cheap skate ) I have taken the stuff into my own hands. I just got the window gfx by using PRNT SCRN and puttin all of em into paint then saving it. I have coded mostly everything. The special windows functions are from dlls I have found lying around forgotten in the forums. A lil searching here and there can go a long way! Well if I can make a gui without using bluegui.dll, then there should be no need to use it! Of course, bluegui is a nice dll, and especially if you are lazy. Otherwise, just get the gui gfx from windows then code the rest! Voila! A bit of time and work can save you money.

Have you actually ran my program...HAS ANYONE? 'Cos I don't see any feedback like I KINDLY asked for .

Worked fine. Is there any way to have it keep ringing even when another window is selected or to force it to stay on top? Good work

You're welcome. Neat app for not using BlueGUI . It looks very XP/Windows-themed.

A feature that would be neat to add would be to have the user specify (via text file) what XP theme they're using, and use the correct colors for that theme . Difficult, but it would look neat.
