That's it in a nutshell. 4Mb will be, sorry, now is their entry level, everyone gets upgraded for free.

They had to pull something out of the bag, after BT made 2Mb their entry level. Just took them a while!

Contrary to popular speculation, I will no doubt spent twice as long on t'internet, rather than half as long. Where's the logic in that?

I'm just getting used to BT upgrading me from 512Kb to 2Mb - took them a while to follow everyone else, so assume I have to wait until next year sometime for next free upgrade (and hopefully a price drop)

my dad has had 3mb from ntl for months now. for me im waiting on 2mb adsl till january for the 24 meg

no 10mbit rollout yet from by? damn and they said they was doing it region by region any time soon

They sent me an email. Rollout between now and the end of the year, you get another email when your area is complete.

Is that an introductory price? The standard price is £25.00. It's a bit more than the cheap ADSL providers, but it's "real" broadband over fibre-optic.

...and it's not capped I hear NTL is now capped, apparently it was part of the T&Cs when they did the last "free" upgrade. That worries me a bit, because NTL and Telewest are the same company now.
