Before I updated (to v1.13), I noticed my version number said v1.12 enhanced. Does that mean that my DBC was enhaced? If so, what does that mean? (Now when I load it, it says v1.13 Enhanced). Does DB always put enhanced after the version number just to make you feel special? I remember reading about the enhanced version, but I can't remember any details. So, yah. Can anyone help me?

the only time it doesn't say enhanced is if you somehow got hold a copy of Dark Basic v1.00 (or earlier)

mine's 1.12 - All that enhanced means is that now under help, you will see memblock and multiplayer sections which were never there initially, nor were the actual commands...

if your 1.13 enhancement runs out after 30 days, then overwrite your DB directory, all you projects will stay there, and you will have a 1.12 enhanced copy that is enhanced forever.

...maybe one day I'll finish a project

Enhanced means you can use Memblock, DLL & Multiplayer commands.

If you upgrade a copy of DBC from an older version to 1.13, you automatically get a '30-day enhancement trial'.

Sorry to (sort of) hijack the thread, but it is related and VM's question has been answered...

I was wondering who on the forums has the earliest version of DBC - and I don't mean still using it non-upgraded lol!

Mine is V1.06.

Anyone have anything earlier?

1.06 supports multiplayer??

I thought my 1.12 was the first version to use those commands - I need to find the changes log...

No, 1.06 didn't have multiplayer commands - I just wondered who had the oldest version of plain old vanilla DB Classic!

oh - just with you writing a full and very helpful multiplayer tutorial (cheap advertising, I know ) But as usual, I forgot to read the most important words:

Yeah I have good ol' 1.06; If you ever want to check out the older versions just go to http://www.waybackmachine.org and type in http://www.darkbasic.com and you can view all the old dbc websites.

set mipmap mode 1: set matrix texture 1,1,1: set spot light 1,0,90: set normalization on: sync rate 0: statistic(1): flush video memory
autocam off: always active on: hide mouse: set window on

That's actually really cool. Google hasn't changed a whole lot besides changing their settups around. DB.com though went through MASSIVE change!
