Can I use .swf files in DB, and if not, is there a good program that can convert to the .avi format?

you cannot use them in db or dbpro.

export your working fla to avi.

u wont retain any dynamics with buttons and so forth.

Its sometimes easier to export each graphic and rebuild it in DBc or DBP.
