Can't get on irc get an error no such channel has this happened to anyone else?

- Used to indicate the server name given currently
does not exist.

Might want to try again later...or doubble check to make sure your going through the right server..

irc will not help you any except to get like one good coder to loko over your work and even thats hard. Last time i got on there i got banned im sure im unbanned by now but the people who run it are like 12 year olds.

Who said the irc was anything about darkbasic... just darkbasic USERS. All the world discussion, debate, and insults used to go into #darkbasic, but since the autojoiner pointed at #lobby was started, everything goes in there. Including the occasional coding problem someone actually has with dbp/

I don't believe any of the network opers, or channel operators are 12... But anyway, let's not turn this thread into a debate about how old someone has to be, to be considered wise, and intelligent...

Well, you're getting on the server correctly, what channel are you trying to join? The DarkBASIC channel is #darkbasic, and general chat is #lobby, both tend to be quite active.

Nope last time i was in there i got banned because i was messin around with some dudes internet GF it was funny though and she was playin along (but i don't know if its really a she) and he got all mad and banned me that shows lack of maturity. Since i'v only been banned once for a dumb reason im making a assumption that everyone there is eaither 12 or immature. If im wrong then get rid of the "mods" who act like it.

to be banned on irc it must be for a reason, even the operators for the servers must have reasons now. any bans within a channel like #darkbasic is not under operation of the network operators and cant be reflected on the network as a whole, each room has their own ops, except #lobby.

some of the ops in #darkbasic are mods here. just thought i point that one out

maybe you typed the join command wrong? roomnames have # at the beginning of them

i can see the error there. you are connecting to the wrong network!

if you read the top of the page with the server details, you shouldnt go wrong.

chattingaway was sooo 2004

I'LL JUST MAKE THIS BIT CLEAR. IF YOU CONNECT VIA CHATTINGAWAY DARKBASIC AINT THERE ANYMORE. IT'S DARKBASICNET/DEVHAT YOU SHOULD USE
