did anyone like that Napelon Dynamite film?
I found it boring...

aparently there's a new advert set for american TV involving him and Bill Gates. not sure what the hell it's for, probably trying to get teens to buy Windows, or just drop money off at the front desk of 1 Microsoft Way or something.

still the only thing worse I can think of than such a crap film, is an advert involving that retarded character. : sigh :

Heh, I didnt like Napoleon Dynamite the first time I saw it, I thought it was incredibly boring and not funny, but if you watch it for the second time, you really understand what its all about . Its hilarious.

you really have to have a simple mind, like me and half of the population, in order to get napolian dynamite. It also helps to watch it more than once, and its humor lies within the fact that you repeat stupid things he says.

lol, that movie was awesome...

i'm sure i would hate it if my friends walked around quoting it all the time (yeah...that would get annoying ) but none of my friends like to quote it so i think it's hilarious...

as TDP said, you really have to have a simple stupid mind to enjoy it...

(i REALLY get annoyed when people say it's stupid just because they are trying to be cool )

btw fxgamer you got half of those wrong (I.E. it's "What ever i feel like, gosh!")

here's my favourites...
#1 "Are you drinking that because you think your fat? because your not, you could drink whole milk if you wanted to." (yeah guys, great line to use on the ladies )
#2 "gosh! maybe i will!"
#3 "Well what would you do if wolverines were attacking your cousins?!? gosh!"
#4 "Your mom goes to college!"
#5 "You're just jealous because i've been chatting online with hot babes all day."

Watched the first 5 minutes and thought it was rubbish and turned it off. Assuming that it's going to be like all the other airhead type comedies, then you would have thought I would have loved it. I mean I still quote Bill and Ted now and again dude (although no-one knows what I'm on about anymore). I think I'm one of the only people ever to really like Dude where's my car, and Harold and Kumar was a good laugh (got to love the Wilson Phillips bit). Strange....

Then again, he reminded me of an old mate of mine that I really wanted to kill when I was a kid (about 16 - ie. Alcohol started to come into things). Really really annoying git....

Party on dudes.

Cheers

Let's discuss "Your mom goes to college!"

This statement is said in the background by Kip when he is sitting on the couch while Napoleon is talking to Deb at the door.

It is so out of place - that it works!

It is so off the wall, that it truly becomes funny!

It stands out in my mind as one of the funniest things in the movie, maybe because it is just so stupid that it's funny!

That reminds me of just after Wayne's World came out and everyone was saying "yah, and monkeys will fly outta my butt!". It got old after about 4 minutes.

I don't have a favorite quote, but a favorite moment:

When Uncle Rico throws the steak at Napoleon. Yep. Good laughs had by me.
