Hey their, someone posted about this guy a few days ago, I think that's not really him...I don't recall what was said...

If it is him, he certainly has got old now eh?

I'm not to worried about the character, it's the gameplay that looks like it's gonna pwn...

I will be waiting to get this game

god gamespot disgusts me.. IGN have some very good shots and the movie online.

this is one of the first REAL real-time videos of what the Playstation 3 is capable of. looks just breath-taking, look forward to it, just hope there will also be X-Box 360 and Revolution versions. caus I don't want to get the Ps3

Heh heh, a Revolution version would be fun. You could sneak up behind guys and swing the controller to beat them over the head and knock them out.

[EDIT]How long did it take them to announce MGS2 Substance for Xbox? I mean, if there's an MGS3 port for PC how hard is it to do a Subsistence port to Xbox?

i never even realised they were out until on the konami site, which btw is kinda stupid to have as konami-europe.com because if you go to konami.com or .co.uk it takes you to some retarded front site that doesn't even have any links to the video games site. until i saw it while doing some research on twin snakes.

i've still never seen it in the shops either.

I suppose I'll have to keep a sharp eye out then. I'm not about to buy a PS2 just to play MGS3.

That trailer was interesting, not as cool as that first one though .

Cool trailer, rather old though.
And the graphics might not even be real PS3 graphics(Killzone 2, anyone?), and in the end of it, it says that it's running on a PS2. I think: ,,Pre-rendered!".

That trailer was developed on a PS2. All PS2 graphics. Its just a taster to introduce the game.

I have read some articles on this game, and some different japan clips of Metal Gear, it looks like it's gonna be a big game (again).

Does anyone have any idea of when abouts the game is released (USA/UK if possible)

I suppose you could import it from japan. Only your gonna need to chip it right? (I chipped my ps2, and couldn't put all the pieces back together..and when I did (I think) it didn't work )

MGS2 was released within 3months of each other. Typically Europe saw it 6months late. (yeah like you have to test th market first with a game like that )

I'd suspect we'll see it as one of the Playstation 3 release titles.
Like Q3 2006.

I doubt if old man Snake is Big Boss from MGS3.

- Technology is way more advanced than in MGS 1 & 2. At this time, Big Boss would be past 80 years old. Old man snake is probably 50-60 years old.
- Otakon hasn't aged much, and he was about Solid Snake's age in MGS1. So I doubt that he's Solid Snake either. But I wonder why Otakon questions Snake about smoking again (like he did in MGS2)
- Cell processor was already released in the video ^_^ Give a little delay, and the year would be around 2007 at the least.

ppl are aware i was joking about it being big boss... i mean it's kinda funny to think about with each of the snakes being a clone of the original big boss who was killed by solid, only to be replaced by solidus, to be killed by Solid then for Solid to become it.

sides I wouldn't put too much into it, but i'm pretty sure the game is set something like 10-15years in the future.

*ahem

By saying "guns", they are refering to biceps, which, if you have ever at all looked at the biceps of a South-Brazillion Poisonous Parrot, they're just plane huge, which pretty much tells you that that damn bird could kick ur A**, thats what they meant ben ol' buddy ol' pal...
