I was wondering which DVD Burning software everybody uses to put their finished games from Hard Drive to DVD disk to sell.

Also I bought C Shop which is as you know a downloaded only program. I have it installed on my computer but, I wondered if I can burn it to a dvd so I can reinstall it. I tried it once with Nero 6 and it copied but, when I tried to install it on another computer it would not run clicking on exe file. Can you burn a loaded program to dvd and have it install like you bought C Shop at a store in a box.

Thanks

well i dont know.

but regarding the c shop thing and all .exe files:

the file has a register file set to the computer, when u move it to another computer there is no registry file there, so it doesnt run.

Now what you do is, burn the .zip or whatever to the cd instead, or find and bundle the reg file with it.

I use both Nero and the NTI DVD Burner.

Nero is somewhat easier to use once you get used to it, but its rather slow in tidying everything up once a burn has finished.

NTI is pretty easy to use, but I did have trouble finding the DVD option when I started using it. You cant drag and drop files with this. Burning is quick, as is tidying up afterwards.

Nero, I used to be a Roxio fan until they got all "clever" and screwed up a good program, plus their DVD writing version sucks big uns, so I switched, I use InCD packet writing a lot for auto backups etc, that was Roxios strong point, their packet writing was more stable than Neros, but since they got all clever with that aweful interface and the actual software got much worse, I went with Nero, not tried nti, it came bundled on my laptop but I removed it and replaced it with Nero, the interface looked pretty limited.
