Went to game before the psp came out and they said one 8mb memory stick essentials pack plus the console only 225 pounds ok that didn't seem bad because they were saying that they won't have a many before christmas now they are selling them 2games 256mb memorystick console and essentails pack for the same price good job i didn't get mine then i'm getting it a christmas anyway what a rip off that preciesly why i don't preorder consoles there

Thats why I buy everything online pretty much. Game used to be good (when EB), but recently went down hill. Virtual games is a lot better value.

never preorder a console from a game-only store like EB or gamestop. They allways say they are going to be out the first day, and they are. But when i walk another 100 yards to my local walmart, they have shelves of the new console, and usually have a good bundle deal.

It holds 10 to 15 selves of each consoles games and they have a bit in the middle and a storage area out back

or GAME itself, me brother pre-orderer it from there april, and buggered it up practically last minute, luckily curry's had loads left and said they'd hold one for him on the release date, so he got it

I love these shop's theories on PREORDERING, i mean, they say "PRE ORDER AND GET IT ON TIME!" and then they dont order enough...and they STILL sell the games on a first come first server basis, so weither you preorder or not, it doesnt matter...

If I ever owned a shop like that, I wouldn't allow more preorders than i can handle, and i would give people the preorders before i gave the other people the game...honestly

I pre-orderd GTA San Andreas at game, didn't go to pick it up until about 6pm on the day of release.

There was someone in front of me in the queue who asked if they had any copies left (hadn't pre-ordered) and they were told no. I went up, flashed my little pre-order receipt thingy and got a copy of the game and a dudey little GTA:SA bandanna free aswell.

So ya see, it ain't all doom and gloom in the world of pre-ordering.

Having said that, anyone remember the mess Sony were in when everyone wanted a PS2 for Christmas the year they were released.
