HI
I know I already have a thread on this subject but it seems to have gone dead before I got any good results from my game.
What I want to know is how to create a playing field for my bomber man game.
Bear in mind that this is a 3D game

[Ugh.. Sorry to all.. It came out harsher than I intended, and I've got to go RIGHT NOW, so I'll fix it later.. Sorry to everyone, etc...]

Don't post multiple threads for one subject. Ever.

It's bad enough cross-forum posting, never mind actually posting another one when your other thread is still on the first page.

People have things to do other than to babysit you; It is normal to have at least one day between responses from people. I cannot believe that you are stupid enough to not realize this, and to think that posting another thread is going to get you more responses.

Your other thread is still on the first page, and is a lot more alive than most of the other ones in this forum.

You got two responses, did you try both of them? When Sven B's map maker didn't work for you, did you try again? Did you try to fix the code yourself?

This is the kind of behaviour that nüb slaps were designed to prevent.

Calm down dear it is just a forum.
Yes I did try again and yes I did try to fix the code but it was not the code I was worrying about I needed to no how to use the code when I had it in my program.
Sorry for posting more than one thread but
Don't ever try calling me a noob ever again!!!

Blankey's post was well over the top, damned rude and ultimatly counter productive. As far as i'm concerned, people who havn't realised that that type of post is the one which doesn't help things and just gets people more irate and likely to flame are the ones who are the true "noobs" and deserve the slap. Correcting him would of been right, slagging him off and ultimatly resorting to name calling and calling him stupid was the lowest behaviour and its when an entire forum becomes like that the steady decline to ultimate doom has begun and the communities days as a nice and active one have began to tick down.
