I've got poser 6 and can make some great models but am assuming that the poly count for these models is going to be way too high for both FPSC and the average computer to handle.

Is there an easy way to lower the amount of polys used by models, and which would be the easiest program to use: Maya or 3ds max..?

I tried doing a search on this but couldn't find anything so please forgive me if it's been asked a million times before! Perhaps we could have a FAQ thread on each forum..?

I can lower them, just send them to me and I'll do it. I'm serious, I have a tool to do it.

Or try and find the (IT'S NOT ILLEGAL!!!) download of Lithunwrap, seeing as the creator doesn't let you get it it anymore, it's somewhere on sourceforge. There's a menu option in there somewhere to reduce the polys.

Cheers for that too Evil stick...have downloaded version 1.3 and the demo of Action3D Reducer Pro, seeing as LithUnwrap is a freebie I'll stick with that unless Action3D is really impressive!
