This may seem like a team request but it isn't more info at www.freewebs.com/ssskewl select Final Drift.

Plz help make it

I Need...
Modelers: who can model a blue and white Link with a cape,a red thin no cape looking Gannon, a bow and arrow, a purple handeled sword, kokorie people with black shoes and blue shirts,evil looking four legged enimies, and a King and Princess.

World Builders: Vast lands that have a cave desert forest ocenan a castle and temples and dungeons.

Map Makers: Make a decent map.

Storyline Writers: who write the story line.

Non Official Company Owner, you forgot to add what you were going to do... or did you leave that part out because you aren't doing anything?

At least read Darkbasic Mads tutorial on sprites and write some code before you post a team request.

you may want to check out Rpg Maker for a zelda type game, great program and not really any coding. You can get used to that and then you can try in DB. Its just hard to make a Rpg game in Db if you don't have a lot of experience. try looking here:

its a free program, and there's tons of sites to do with it, and lots of graphics and stuff all over the web. My advice is give it a try and then try making the game over in DB. I personally started out with Rpg maker 2000 and then moved up to DBC and then DBPro, its a good path to take.

You say it's not a team request - and you're right. You're not looking to make a team, you just want free stuff off people.

So you've got an idea that you want to make. Cool. Enthusiasm is great. However - please don't make posts like this. You'll get newb-slapped again for going against the rules and annoying people. You're asking for stuff for free!

Try making something that you don't need free stuff off people for. Graphics don't matter to begin with. Make your game, but make it with a red cube for Gannon, a green one for Link and little red spheres for baddies. YOU DON'T NEED GRAPHICS YET!

Make your engine, show screenshots of your engine, and when you do, people will want to help you. Right now - you're sounding like a greedy little pain in the bum.

No graphics yet. Make your game engine first. You can do it if you really make the effort and learn.

I laughed.

Actually Benjamins joke gave me an idea. Ever since Non Official Company Owner got here I have never seen any code from him at all... only request after request. Why don't we give him a test on code. Give him a task to program and see if he can do it. Of course it would have to be in irc chat where the test itself won't be revealed until he's ready to be tested and so there's no cheating by going to other programming pages and asking how to do it.

If he can't do it... he's never allowed to "request" again or try to get people to go to his webpage. Any messages that even hint like that will be deleted by the mods... he'll forever be in the newbie slap too.

@Grog: Right on dude. I mean, I have never seen any code. He wants to make a big project, which is cool, but should try those later. Goto newcomers corner and try Chris K's tutorial, it's actually quite good. Start off there, and then work up to something good like Zelda. And show stuff before asking for code. Cmon man don't be so annoying. Maybe you will someday get your reputation back. And a word of advice, change your name. That way we won't know your new account and you can start all over.
