I own Half Life 2 and have my legal account and everything, but i own the 5cd version, i was wondering if i were able to download the DVD LEGALLY FOR FREE and use that rather than the 5 cds?

in certain countries like australia england and america you are allowed to make one copy of your purchased media to save disc usage on the original. make a data dvd and when it asks you for each cd just feed it a path or make a cd with each cd as its own mounted point.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

Ok, cool, could you tell me how to do that in linux using ISO images?

I made an ISO of all 5 for backup, but if i could merge all of those into one DVD ISO that would be awesome

you could have my DVD if that would work, steam just ignore my requests for help to get my account working again so I can`t use it, they effectivley just stole £30 off me, I will never buy any game that uses steam ever again, it was more than enough trouble when it was working anyway, stuff em.
