Flock is a team of people who left the mozilla googy egg
and decided to make there own open source browser that renders components
in the browser window according to the best method render eg:
IE components are rendered using the IE render handler instruction set.

anyway its early days with this so only try it if you love tinkering.

btw anyone using netscape 8 and its rendering methods?

Netscape will render pages in either Firefox or IE rendering also. And it has really advanced all important tabbed browsing, along with the best form-filler I've seen.

Gecko renderer? It would be cool if they made their own renderer, but theres not a whole lot of information on it.

Its not Sourceforged, which it probably should be for proper CVS access.

Sig changed for lagging up browsers.

flock seems pretty stable on mac os x after another week or so of goofing with it.
i dont validate any of your comments above, its diatribe to the extreme regarding whos first or if its been added to with comments.

OMFG You heretics! CHALLENGING A MOD?!?!?! That is honestly unthinkable.

But yeah I love Flock now my favorite browser, everything I loved about Firefox, and I seem to be getting a quicker rendering time with it and a sexy gui.

Don't take it so seriously

I'm sure not one of us has never locked a thread because one already existed.

i dont take many things with comedy any more, im suffering from over work. I havent been here for ages because some corporate giant has my fingers tied to a machine as i grind out there evil wishes. dont take my solid replies as a barking dog, you should know me by now, im not that grumpy. however i will have enough cash to buy a quad CPU g5 and a dual 4gig core and 6 months off work, which means i will be able to restart DT again. Saving up to take a half a year off work isnt easy on the budget but this new job is paying by the hour like you wouldnt believe, so it will be all roses soon. that said im prolly the only mod who has never banned anyone unless its really warranted or never newb slapped anyone unless i cant make a friend and resolve the situation without digital offence.
people who know me here, know im kind / helpfull etc.. it doesnt matter what people think tho, its every action you take as if an example of your last.
