Okay, the team requests forum has been long gone. I was wondering if it may be a good idea just to have a site for team requests. Would you like that?

A site can have a forum. A forum contains boards. A board contains threads. A thread contains posts.
dim site(maxboards,maxthreads,maxposts):`<---has one forum

No, I am talking about a site that has links to sites and has a forum for team requests. Kindof along the lines of www.gmlcans.com.

Well it's sounds like you're set on making one, so go ahead and we'll all be sure to not visit it.

Why do you have to be so mean Jimmy. I really do not like your attitude on the site. Well, I was thinking that it may be nice for there to be a site like that out there, and for there to be a redirect link in the Apollo forums to it for people interested.

Well, I think TGC got rid of the Team Request board because they DON'T want to be associated with that nonsense. Even though my L33t thread probably quadrupled their sales.

Anyway, we've shown you exactly what you're looking for and no, not every site needs an Invision board.

Because teh team requests SUCKZ0rZ, that's teh WHY. Obiously you weren't around when the team requests was a prominent feature of TGC. You'd be amazed at the amount of crap the mods had to clear off of there, and that's with an approval system. Besides, not a single team request project was ever finished...

Actually, I prefered your "I, uhhh... " php script exploit that snuggled it's way past the approval system.

Now you just know someone (me, for example) is going to say that actually they did finish a game that was started on the team request board ('tis true)

Team requests are hopeless among people who don't know what they're doing anyway.

Probable Answer:
Quote: "Well, I wud onle let peeple use it that no wut they r doin"

Sure...that's what they all say. I am yet to see a widely used team request site/forum that doesn't have morons who know nothing. For example, I tried team requests before, then I realized I was the moron who knew nothing! So until I make a widely-bought commercial product/game, I am done with team requests.

You can post team requests on this forum as long as you follow the rules of posting one ...

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=team_requests

So why do we need a TR forum?

Well Rich said we can post them, hence why he posted that link to the rules to follow for team request posting ... or it is just more TGC evilness. I see no reason to lock or delete TR posts that follow those rules. If someone posts one that doesn't however, I think they should be hunted down and skinned alive (for the first offense nobody wants to know about the second ).

The list you gave, TheIndy, is filled with people who think they know what they do ... or you think that they know what they do, but in the end they have no idea what will happen with them in heaven because they did their stuff here.

Great new friends

As you see, TheIndy, I didn't expect to become famous with my post, so I didn't know what I was doing. It's the same with the people you were talking about.

Okay, I did not say that the forum needed to be invisionboard, but I think it would be nice to just have a site dedicated to that, like www.gameDev.net.

Well, then you can also make a blog about it.
Or just get your own forum. It's not that hard with PhpBB.

cheers
