Hi. I'm looking for a cheap and efficiant web hosting plan for a commercial page for my first shareware project. I need around 200-500 megs, a good speed and a domain name. Anyone have suggestion on who-to-trust-and-who-to-dodge?

dreamhost.com is the best i'v gone with so far plus they have monthly or yearly plans but i could also host it for a small fee CHEAP as poo too. But it'd be a sub domain unless you wanna pay 15$ to registure a domain name lol.

I suggest you don't do anything TheIndy suggests
and I suggest contacting Jimmy for a host and where to buy a domain name...he's your best bet

It's excellent if you know how to take advantage of their 1MYSQL database and cram everything on..

Now is an excellent time to join...

I provide web hosting for Indie Game Developers. I am currently using Mike's servers to host all of the sites I sell so I'm sure you can trust me.

All of my Indie Dev accounts come with "Flexi Bandwidth" so if your project/game makes it big you won't have to worry about your account being suspended when you most need it.

I also sell Domain Names and take out all the trouble of organising them for you at no extra charge.

My web hosting services are going to be merged with Coders Turf eventually.
