Unless it is a phone with like 800x600 resolution then I doubt it was that good. I've browsed these forums with my iPaq (which should be a bigger and better screen than most phones), and it's pretty bad. And this was in full screen mode (no address bar, tool bar, nothing). Got to love that scrolling around the page with the stylus action though (you tap on the screen and drag it around). And it was on wi-fi connected to a 2mbit connection, so was pretty quick too. Was cool sending emails using Gmail from a Paris foyer though

Cheers

I tried before on my brother old smart phone, and it kinda uses that really small font and does try it's best to look right. I think I needed it to check the Alienware compo results, which it did let me do on it's tiny screen . The forum actually looks quite cute when it's condensed onto a 256x256 res screen.

I'm guessing you mean that there is a WAP version of the forums, rather these exact pages on a phone?

When I had my Blackberry, it did use these pages and not a WAP version.

The forums (and the forums only) fit perfectly on the PSP when using the 'Just-Fit' selection. In fact, I'm posting from my PSP right now! Dang their numerically placed keypad!

I was on wap last night looking for neat apps, particularly a notepad program. I eventually found one http://www.getjar.com/products/510/Notepad, but it didn't work on my phone. Time to upgrade me thinks!

TGC forums on a Nokia Communicator is an interesting experience. made the the more interesting by the fact I had to hold it above my head if I was to get any signal at all.

PSP just has WiFi capabilities, so the cost is whatever method you have to get wireless internet access.

Nah, would rather use my laptop. 1920x1200 res from anywhere in the house. Stuff 240x320 resolution (PDA) or my phone (also 240x320).
