It doesn't go...

Right so I posted this to MS forums..
but i thought i'd post it here to see what you guys think.
FYI i'm pissed off at MS for this retardedness... nothing new move on...

Unfortunatly.. Microsoft forums are so advanced that you can directly link to any specific topics... Great technology there guys.

So i shall use quote

Quote: "Hey.
This is retarded...

Take a normal site.. any normal site.. and launch a second site from it.
Everything is fine.

Take your second site and add it to the trusted list.
Back back, take a normal site.. any normal site.. and launch the trusted
site from it.

You are asked if you want to proceed with letting a trusted site load...

Now... what the hell is the point of that.. The whole point of me putting it
as a trusted site is that it can be trusted!
I mean.. it seems to be trusted more without being on that list!

Wait .. wait.. it gets better

Now visit something from the restricted zone.
(Ill save you the bother of trawling through filthy crap... try loading
efinder.cc

ALL that happens is a pathetically small 16x16 icon pops up on the left..
and nothing else... the site loads normally..
That's retarded...

That's totally retarded... Your prompting me for trusted zones.. but do
bugar all if it's not trusted... yet you're permitting restricted zones!!!

Personally I don't care about the restricted zone.. I don't visit those
sites anyway...
What bugs me is the trusted zone prompt.. every time i go to microsoft.. or
some trusted site is loaded it prompts me

Here's a really annoying one
Add passport.net to the trusted list..
Now try navigating Hotmail

Specifically try changing your Signature to something else (Try going all
the way.. Appart from the fact that it doesn't work and seems to be caught in
a loop... It's bloody annoying to get out of the loop with that dam Trusted
Prompt coming up on every refresh!)

I'm sorry.. but Messenger 7.5 just tipped the balance...
Get it right FFS

A retarded forum post.
Last time I quoted one of these.. it was some idiot trying to open an email with media player.... .... ... yeah....

Quote: "I have created an additional connection.
The icon on desktop is "My Connection"
When I d-click it
The "Connect to" screen comesup with the
button "Connect" click it to establish the
connection. All OK.
"Connection established" screen has two
button Close and Moreinf.
From here how I can load a webpage/homepage straightway?

"

It really baffles me why people need to ask such questions when they've succesfully signed up to hotmail, been verified.. sat in that non responsive passport service and successfully navigated the crazy microsoft community forum design...

lol

Ca va?
Il n'Ca va bien.

(don't know if that's how it's written

Literally It Doesnt "go"

That's not the point...
point is IE prompts you when you put in a domain into the trusted zones, yet not when you access a restricted zone.

I think you misunderstand the concept.

Because the first site is restricted, it's warning you that it is trying to get to your trusted zone.

The trusted zone simply has less restrictions. You can edit these, and even make the Trusted zone highly restrictive if you like. But assuming it has everything set to enabled, you don't particularly want other sites linking to them and potentially passing dangerous instructions.

Email with Windows media player? I can see why they have a book called 'Windows XP for dummies' some people make me laugh with lack of knowledge of computers, when things are obvious, does the postman put the post through your CD player or TV? If he/she does, hit him/her
