I realized that the threads posted in forums, all have a related theme for a time being.

Example,
Person A posts, now, a day later, Person B posts something almost IDENTICAL.

This happens ALL THE TIME, i've noticed, quite funny if i do say so myself.

In DBP area, it seems NEWTON is the thing right now, it's like someone made a cool thing in NEWTON and asked a question how to tweak it or something, so EVERYONE else wants to learn to do something like that, so now EVERYONE is asking about newton... It's great

It might be that Newton is quite a scary proposition, and even just trying it might be a bit much for the very nervous. I suppose people read about it get reminded to try it, it is getting quite widespread now though I agree with that.

If it means more brains to share the pain of Newton in DBPro Discussion then great - it's a damn pernickity system!.

The other one would be the Revolution Controller, the basic rule here is to consider that if you have news, then the chances are that people on the other side of the world who got up 12 hours ago have already posted it .

Wasn't trying to be funny, and if you don't care, why are you posting? just ignore it and go happily on your way.

yeah, it's true, and I know why they do it, I was just pointing out that it's there and it's kinda funny when you think about it

I do care about it

Some people actually don't show any effort to know if their questions were
asked before.. Some people just keep asking for answers they could take from a fast
look at the help files.. and don't show anny effort to read it..

I remember a dude (not so long ago) asking "how to program"..
there is no answer to this question..
the answer could be.. at the keyboard maybe?

Joel.. I think it is not necessary.. many newbies really don't care about taking
a look at Newton's help files.. I understand what you mean, of course.. but the solution would be to stick the "how to make collsion" question (in example)..
But it doesn't stop there.. someone is gonna ask for "collision to walls"..
and another one is gonna ask for "collision to ground".. "to table" (j/k)..

Some newbies really don't care about that.. they want THEIR OWN threads for THEIR questions..

So there will be two or more questions "how to load an object" in
the "Object Theme - For everything to do with objects" sticky..

It is interesting to see trends forming.

I was going to say more but I can't think of any current examples. I get what you mean though Joel.

"A book. If u know something why cant u make a kool game or prog.
come on now. A book. I hate books. book is stupid. I know that I need codes but I dont know the codes"

You look at them as too many useless posts.

I look at them as more opportunities to fire up the flamethrower.

And, so, speaking of useless posts....

That's cute Mold Rat, I'm not nessisarily linking the "two hardly related topics" they just seemed like a good example.

Oh darn, that's going to hurt me lots, because I really CARE how a bunch of pimple-faced-nose-pickers care about me. I think I'm going to go down in my room and cry and never come back to these forums again! or better yet! i'm going to go trolling these forums and BASH everyone i come across, even if what they post is a valid point.

Yes, it is a valid point.

But you would also get flamed if you posted other obvious posts; i.e., the sky is blue, grass is green, fish have bicycles, etc.
