i am trying to make a game using the zombie 3ds model in darkmatter, i loop the object but when it gets to the end it jerks and starts again. How can i stop this from happening.

maybe your position object commands are in your loop or you have that if it reaches a certain place it resets position. Why dont you post code using the code brackets, not the code box below the reply box

make the movement more smooth so that the loop ends at the same place and it starts again with out a the jump in it should look ok if you get it right

although it seems a bit harsh, I think maybe darkbasic MAD ought to be noob slapped, he`s starting to annoy me, it`s like everything people say to him to help him is just thrown back in their faces , and he will NOT stop these silly one line posts that don`t help anyone

in answer to the thread, chop out the first 5 frames of the animation like this (check the loop object command)



the dark matter models are a bit iffy in most aspects including the animation dept, I had high hopes for them when I bought them since I am totaly useless at anything involving art, but they are only realy suitable for placeholders.

the animations stink on them, plainly put, so if you had a software that could import .x then maybe you could change them

PS: Jack, use .X models instead of .3ds. they load faster.
