I was wondering if anybody can tell me the size of an average .asf file in decent quality (like how many megabites per minute?)

Also, is .mpeg4 the same as .asf? Because i am going to buy a little video player thingy and it says,
"Playable media files: ASF (MPEG-4 video)."
