I don't usually post on forums, much preferring to lurk and do my own thing, but I feel the need to share some problems that I've been having with Aliencodec. I do this to partly forewarn others, and also because TGC are a re-seller of Aliencodec products and may not be aware of the situation.

I,along with several others, have purchased AC products recently and not received download links. They used an excuse about Hurricane Rita delaying the e-mailing processs, even though some people had paid for products before Rita had even touched Florida, nevermind Texas, and it was still "only" cat 2 at that time.

Anyway, after several emails to support went unanswered I posted that I didn't really buy the Rita excuse for a couple of reasons, one being the before mentioned timeframe, and the other being that one of Aliencodecs owners is based in the UK and could _easily_ have fulifilled the orders or at least answered the support emails.

And then today my post, along with others, has been deleted from their forum. The arrogance of logging on to the server and deleting critical posts from paying customers who still have not received the product they paid for is beyond words in my opinion. They have time to delete posts but still not send the download links out ???

Have a read of their forums at www.aliencodec.com - they are absolutely filled with complaints about products not working, lack of support, no download links after payment. AC even try to blame TGC on several occasions for not supplying them with the correct info.

They need to get their act in order or be shut down in my opinion.

Sorry for joining and making such a negative post

This doesn't make sense. We take, process and fulfill all AC product orders ourselves! We don't actually send AC customer details.

We've been trying to contact them for a few weeks now with no reply, due to similar enquiries to our support team.

If they're removing forum posts, at least they are back again? As long as they get in touch with you guys eventually, that's at least a start. Also bear in mind that perhaps it's not just AC staff who have the ability to moderate their forum (this might not be the case, but just a thought). Give them the benefit of the doubt for now, their products ARE worth it - but I can see how this must be extremely frustrating for their customers.
