Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you could give me a link to a .x export/import plugin for 3ds max 7. i searched the forums and google and coulded find anyhting. if 1 of u new then it would greatly help me. thx in advance.

ps- sorry for the poor grammar. lol

I use mainly Gamespace (no need for another, sometimes use milkshape), hence I have not tested the one am gonna recommend.
Anyway, what you need is called Panda,and I think it is freeware.

Panda only export ..

Forget about the Panda one, it's pants. Kept on crashing 3ds max on my system. Try downloading the DirectX SDK August 2005 update instead mate, miles better. And it's free too.

Actually the only program I know with import capabilities for DirectX is gamespace, and have some small glitches.

it works great

Thanks for all the replies!I tryed Xporter, when it would ay that it was the wrong version whenever I start up 3ds max. I will try some of the things you guys have suggested. Thanks Again.
