The future is here, and I can't afford it.

Depends on the game. Most games allow you to delete the saved game data. Be more specific.

i think the gba pak is permanently written on flash rom so probably not, cause i know games like pokemon and zelda need a battery to maintain savegames so it is unlikely you can erase the data for the acutal game, but they do make writable flash cartriges, its just that you can only write it once i think

you dont beat the system. the system beats you.

They make writable cartridges, and they can be written to and erased tons of times, and they're great for GBA development. If you look up EZ-Flash on Ebay you're bound to find some.

I think maybe he was talking about game save data, not the game itself.

I'll repeat: I don't think he was talking about deleting the game itself from the cartridge.

I think what he really means by code is cheat code, which would mean that he wants to start from the start of the game again, without whatever the cheat code added.

You should be able to clear the memory on the Flash Cart. You just need a flash linker ( either a proper linker that you put the cart into, then plug that into the PC, or simply a cable that plugs straight into the GBA's extension port, and into the PC, as well as some software ).

Shouldn't be any troubles at all.

I recommend that you have a browse of forum.gbadev.org though, as that's a very popular forum for all things GBA

What GOOBER said Benjamin said.

EDIT: Wait, I just realised I used that out of context. Oh well, may as well make this post useful. Lalalala. I have no idea about how to go about deleting the game/save data, so sorry about that.

Yes, and most likely they get saved too as part of the player's progress.
