How would u make a series of 3 bitmaps appear on the screen (each about a second apart)? Also how would i fade the last bitmap and play a sound on each bitmap?

this is so simple that I am inclined to suggest you actualy check the innumerable tutorials we have both on this site and others (TDK mans tutorials are apparently quite good), this is what you asked for

load bitmap "screen1.jpg"
load sound "effect1.wav",1
play sound 1
wait 1000
load bitmap "screen2.jpg"
load sound "effect2.wav",2
play sound 2
wait 1000
etc
etc



why do they say Aliens are gonna be friendly?, surely the agressive ones wipe out the peaceloving ones, so all you have left out there are crazed flesh eating interstellar monsters.

You can also use the 'fade bitmap' thing.

sync off
for i = 100 to 0 step -1
fade bitmap bmp,i
next i
