Newcomers DBPro Corner / Cant get animation to play

I knocked this up to try and test out a sword playing but I cant get the animation to work. Could you tell me whats wrong please? The sword just sits there.

I've yet to get an .x file with animation working either - i export from Maya and test in Microsoft's x-viewer and it looks fine. But no joy in DBPro!

has ANYONE got a .x animation exported from maya and running in DBPro (with 3.1 patch)

Since the if spacekey comand is in the do loop then that means you have to press the space key continually until the animation is done. Try something like this


That should play it once. If you want it to loop then put 'loop object 1' instead of 'play object 1'
