Hi, I'm a noob and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use the get image statment, the help is not really any help at all, all I get is a nice black screen when I try to get an image from a "load bitmap" statment and a blue one when trying get image on "load image".

The bmp I'm trying to get is 1134x115 but I only want 1 frame so all I really need is 127x115 of the bitmap, but it doesnt work!! When I call the get image command it does nothing but sit here.

I'm using DBPRO can anyone tell me what I'm doing worng here?

What you're doing is fine - but before the "DO" command stick in "SET CURRENT BITMAP 0".

You're still looking at bitmap 1 during your main loop.

Cheers,

Did that work for you?
If not use load image not load bitmap, becuase I know my graphics card when I get a image from a bitmap and paste it with transparency on it doesn't show up, without transparency on it show?

savage 2000 64 meg, nobody else I've had try my example has had the same problem, so this bug must be limited to my card only. The bad thing, if another dbp user cuts their images from a bitmap and uses transparency, I can't use their program. I have reinstall the drivers, even reinstall windows. Oh, Well.

CtoP it is a card error... happens on my Savage4 Pro as well - just a fact of S3's drivers being not quite complete.

They never did have particularly fantastic cards - relyable as they'll run everything, useless as they'll fudge up all the graphics
