I reently decided (for a reason not even I know), to play Tribes 2 again... Very dead servers and all that, but still played it... I noticed that on changing my renderer from D3D to open GL, I doubled (and in some cases, tripled) my FPS while playing...

This lead me to think "perhaps I can get rid of some unwanted slow-downs in my first venture into the FPS territory"

My thoughts are that this is going to come back negative, but I'll see anyway...

Does anyone know of plug-in DLL (Silly things, whatever they are - I've never used them before) that would allow Open GL rendering?

With the box saying:

I'm guessing if one does exist, it won't be written by the DB team, One of the threads in General chat even says that Lee hates Open GL...

Thanks in advance for any feedback, even if this just doesn't exist...
