Yeah, Runescape's not geeky enough.. It's too crap. I doubt the polygon count is ever over 175 on-screen.

I play it every so often because it's free, and its fun and passes the time. If I every seriously get into online gaming, I'll get WoW or Everquest or something.

I'm lv42, but I play on and off every few months. The longest gap between playing I had was about five months. I have mithril and adamantite everything, but no rune armor.

Watered down run of the mill MMORPG, but at least it's free. Pretty much any of the serious commercial offerings are better, and a few might even have communities where the average user age is over ten.

Its an alright game, played it almost a year a go got to lvl 47, as with any MMORPG I get bored after 1/2 an hour, hate all the long and boring walks on them

Just ignore Jimmy he's just weird when it comes to things he don't like...then again he's constantly a weirdo...but then who isn't?

Hey Runescape's low budget, everyone starts out low budget. But it's unique, how many MMOs can you mine, fish, or farm? How many has dragon armor! How many have cooking level? Not many, Runescape is one of my favorite games. I also love Metal Gear Solid.

Im sorry I can't like runescape its a waste of time, your not mindlessly shooting anything so how can you become a psychopath I mean honeslty I thought the point of videogames was to shoot things and become a violent person, at least thats what the psychologists say at least but who believes them anyway......I think I should change my Sig to "Never believe someone with a degree in psychiatry or psychology or anything else that starts with a psy." I play runescape until I can afford to switch to something better...and if people are complaining about the graphix pay $5 and check out Classic...

I'm lvl 82 with full rune..used to have a few phats but I sold them. I also had a rune miner who got banned...for reasons I'm not sharing I also have 64 magic, 68 mining, and many other semi-notable skills...at this point I couldn't care about my skills...I'm just playing till I find something better to do...and I wanna try to sell it...

And to those who h8 runescape:perhaps you should check ebay and how much good accounts go for...that's why I continue to play. If I get my account good enough with good items...I've seen them go for up to $1000 on ebay.

If you stand not beside me, then I assume you to be my enemy.

could be banned, suspended etc.. But I don't think its illegal.
Personally I think its wrong but think about it, do you think you would
get sued or charged by the police for selling a runescape account?!

You could get sued. By creating an account you fully agree to the terms of use and violation of these terms can allow Jagex to press charges as they see fit. I have seen many people banned from ebay and paypal because of such things. Sure it is unlikely you would be sued but Jagex could probably win a case against someone for selling an account without much trouble...

I'm not saying that it is impossible for jagex to sue but c'mon have you ever played runescape. When I was on I had like 3 people try to scam me and another 2 trying to sell accounts through the game. I reported them they probably got banned do u think they got sued?
Also like code spinneker said Jagex could win and get $10 as well as embarrased. Like I said selling accounts is wrong and those offending the rules should be banned but not sued.
