Just to let you all know that there are 32 days left (768 hours) left until the Third DBPro Convention, so if your coming and you haven't got somewhere sorted, it would certainly be advisable to get something sorted as soon as possible.

And for those who are undecided about coming, you could look forward to :

* Meet Mike, Lee and me (not Me!, but me).
* Coding competition with prizes
* Listen! To talks from Mike, Lee and hopefully Philip
* Play! Games
* Code! Programs
* Drink! If your old enough...

After the drinking part will there be any videos taken of FPSC act outs?

It's too bad I don't live on your half of the globe, it's where all the fun is!

I'd only turn up if it was in the town center in the closest town to me I'm not the kind of guy to travel far for conventions, I'd rather spend money on concerts...that reminds me, gotta get early tickets for Download 2006 soon

The list of attendees seems smaller than last year and I see some notable UK community members are missing - RobK being an example?

I believe there were plans for it to be in Hawaii this year, but then Nick realised the problem with that... aside from the ridiculous costs, the name "Official Dark Basic UK Convention" lost some of it's luster.

Provided I'm all sorted out money wise by TGC (which after today I doubt will be an issue), you can count me in.
Now I have month to finish my secret project... : rubs hands :

A few persons do seem to be missing unfortunately...

This is the list I had :

Philip “The Bear” Young
Andrew “Destroy the lesser rice puddings” Thompson
Nicholas “I’m better than everyone else, so there” Kingsley
Richard “Master of Lag” Nash
Jason “X” Dean
Ian “Fred Flintstone” Mold
Martin “The Giff” Dobie - Probably wont be coming
Craig “The Scraggle” McFarlane
James “The Boat” Rowe
Eric “The Human” Tomassetti
Hussein “The Gorf” Duvigneau
David “The Wendigo” Peterson
Lee “Pizza Man” Bamber
Jonathan “The Darthster” Gover
Mike “I came, I saw, I 3D’d” Johnson
Robert “Blue Man Group” Knight - Unknown ?
Sam “Frish The Neofish” Fisk
Johnny “I’m from Norway” Ree

It seems to have gone down a bit

though with all the drunks in the street, the pace you'll be walking (as darth noted last yr) will make it seem like a few yards.
