Newcomers DBPro Corner / Object movement

I am trying to get a cube to follow another cube by these commands.



the first cube just moves further into the distance.
Can anyone tell me why?!

You would be better using

POINT OBJECT 2, object position x(7),object position y(7),object position z(7)

Think about it. At one point, they will be facing the same direction.

If you now rotate object 7 90 degrees, and set the orientation of object 7 to match, they are side by side, not one pointing towards the other.

Here's one of the simplest ways of doing it
i was unsure on if you got dbpro or dbc. So here you got both versions You control the player on the arrow keys. Then the other box will follow you. :

thanks-i have dbpro. So object orientation just makes the objects look in the same direction?
