Ye4ah er I have a planet, I can get my spacecraft to land and take of on the planet but the thing is the planet itself, no mountians no cliffs I was wondering how I could make my planet look more like a planet like how you can with Matrixes.

How can you make them more terrain looking? or can you get a terrain to wrap a around a sphere? and how it that done?

Yeah then can you randomise the texture height because I have done a 3D Model already and have it textured but I have no idea how to rough up the texture or give it a load of different heights

make your planet as segments, across and down, attach them as limbs to each other and hide and show the visible ones, so anything in screen is shown and off screen is hidden, build your bumpy scenery into the model segments, I don`t think a bumpmapped texture would work since DB collision works on the models data dimensions, not what the texture is doing, so you would fly through bumpmapped cliffs (I think you would anyway), segments could be relativley low poly and allow you add luxuries like caves to fly into, overhanging cliff edges, sky islands etc.
