He kinda disapeared in a hissing fit after something I said over at RGT

I'm not saying it was my fault, but I think he was getting to 'that' point and just posted a lot of negative comments and disapeared. All I did was complain about the inherent 'switch to blitz' attitude that was on LLRGT almost as soon as they went multi-platform.

I've no idea what he said, I just know that my name would have been on his shit list - he should really just come back though, he did'nt burn his bridges as far as I know, I doubt anyone bares a grudge against him or his bunny.

van b what have you done

he was a really skilled coder and i wish i could see what he is working on at the moment. even if it IS a blitz project. wonder what if he have improved his car physics? in 2004 i tried so hard to make a car game with his open source physics it ended up me using 90% of his code

Well I'm not 100% sure what happend, I wasn't around at the time - but my complaint did kinda get the ball rolling.

All I did was make a WIP post, and all he did was try to convince me to switch to blitz, a few people were like that so I complained and the new rules got put up, and he objected to them and posted the bile.

Anyhoo Lukas, all the cool coders are using Newton for their vehicles these days .

there was a few names from the llrgt blitz fallout that disappeared soon as they switched to a multi language forum.

masked probably got annoyed that people dont like that other product because we own db. said a few words then left.

I think it was more about him advising people to switch so much, like they don't want their users harassed becuase of their chosen lanugage, and he did'nt like his opinions being quoshed. As I say I don't think the situation got that hairy, there's nothing to stop him signing up on MunkeyNuts or CodersWorkshop. I don't think he's developing anymore.

Before that incident we'd never argued or flamed or anything like that - I think that he just took it bad. I did'nt talk to him that much, but he always seemed a fairly decent bloke - if he knew me better then he'd have known not to suggest such a crazy proposition .

Good luck to him, in whatever he's involved in these days - I do hope he's still coding.

I think so. Have seen him in a few other forums, bothered the people over at polycount for a while; which reminds me I need to check up on it again.

such a damn casual user heh

Now we have that all cleared up within reasonable doubt, we can get on with the real issue this post was made.

How the new forum moderators are... heh

Actually, just so you guys know, he's online all the time, he's on right now. Msn, anyway.

He's always been nice to me, but I wasn't around then anyway. He even helped me through a bit of a personal crisis once.
