Right, so never bought a camera in my life, and im just looking for something really cheap for personal pictures, and ebay selling, and the like. Is this a good deal? Or can someone suggest something better? Really, all I need is a camera, batteries, and memory card. The cheaper the better...

Also, how much of a difference is there really in resolution or w/e. Will I really notice a drastic change between a 2MP and 3MP and 4MP shot?

here is another I was looking at...

That's a piece of crap.

You can do better than that. Keep looking.

In fact, allow me to suggest the HP Photosmart series.

The only thing that makes me want to puke is this bit:

I just need to get something and not get ripped off, so any input would be great.

They are normally rubbish. Esp if they say some crap about also being a webcam. And even if you get higher megapixels, this is not always an indication of how good the picture is. Far from it in a lot of cases. 5 megapixel Trust cameras seem amazingly good value, but apparently the image quality is like gazing through badly made glasses. A nice 3 megapixel Sony may be lower res than the Trust, but the quality *will* be a lot better. Normally it's in the lens and/ or processor.

Unfortuantly the normal rule of thumb is price. More is better. Kodak are pretty decent though for a good price. Friend of mine has a straightforward 2 megapixel Kodak that does some fantastic pictures.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
