The language wasn't built around that 'rule'. It is only said because it is very common with words in the English language.

About the rule. Its "I before E except after C and when sounding like A as in 'neighbour' and 'weigh'"

Any place where the E and I make an 'A' sound its reversed. Note that this includes the word "their" which if pronounced correctly sounds like 'they're' not 'there' hense the 'A' sound.

Ummm and yeah that dog does look weird!

Interesting Sculpture...would be strange if they could do that, but animal rights and humans rights activists would sabatage it, and people who believe we aren't allowed to play 'god' will protest and a bunch of other people. And other ethical issues will arise in doing it, shame that genetics has to have ethical limits
