Oh yes, there are many, many numbers. In fact, the biggest number is 913,402,394,192. Fact.

9.1GB is a lot of porn... obviously over eMule or Kazaa though, cause just as many people seem to be taking it
I'd suggest you turn off thier ability to do that.

This said... why do you have yours set to Bytes over Packets?

tis the default, tis the default.

I actually don't have eMule or Kazaa nor do I download porn. But I think they're so hi because I copied all my music to this computer and then back to my server (it got a nasty virus, and I decided just to wipe and get it over with, only took an hour or so).
Plus I listen to music over the network, saves me lots of space on my hard drive

I've never seen the option to display packets!

That is a lot of traffic, the server here has lots of networked databases and 60 PC's attached, and I doubt it has that sort of overhead, over 10 hours that's scary!.

Unless you have around 4gb of MP3's, in which case that's totally expected.

6.8gb... funny thing is, I hate most of it, it's mostly all my sisters' music, so I have like 3 or 4 album from different musicals.

haha, this is so weird

I just installed XP Pro on my server yesterday, and it says Packets, and I have XP Pro on this system here and it says BYTES, that's so weird...

maybe it has to do with the NIC?

Is this on servers that it says packets or on home computers.

Just asking.

hmm... teh jimmy's head seems a wee bit small.

So as long as the computer is functioning as a server it displays packets... that makes sense

The machine I'm on now isn't a server but I get packets. I've never had anything but packets on EVERY machine I've used with WinXP. I'd PREFER bytes, but I always get packets :-(

Maybe it's down to the network driver what it prefers reporting

Thats about the only feasable thing I can think of.. But dont all networks cards (like 99.9%) use built in standard windows drivers?
