Newcomers DBPro Corner / Error in Program

When I put command stuff in and push F5 it says ERROR in PROGRAM SYSTEM ERROR NO COMMAND FILE FOUND.

That's perfectly legit code for DB/Pro, and if it doesn't work, then try re-installing DB/Pro.

This is not a code problem, but rather that the IDE cannot find the file which holds the language's reserved words.

it's darkbasic and i have reinstalled it more than once.

We know it's Dark Basic, but if you read the stickies, it says you need to state which one.

If it's DB Classic and you are using Dark Edit, try going to Edit...Edit Options and clicking on the DarkBASIC Options tab.

You need to make sure that the first box contains the location of DB.EXE.
