I got the book(Is some time since i bought it thought), but when i was a beginner the book was a huge help for me. It will start off from the very beginning, and then take to the more advanced stuff. In one of the chapters(One of the final chapters), it will teach you how to make an online car game, we're you need to drive around at shoot each other.
But the book really does cover alot of the basic's and it's a really good book to help you start with darkbasic or darkbasic pro. You will also get a cd with it, we're all the codes from the chapters are on(For both DarkBasic Classic and DarkBasic Pro).

Hope This Help

Then why would you need a book?

I'll be buying the new DBP Book thats fabled to be released sooner or later. I've had $150 stuffed away since I read about the possibillity of it coming out. Though I realise it will be far later than sooner.

no not $150 for any particular reason. just seemed a safe amount to have put away for the book.

Have you got anymore details about this book? I'd be interested in buying it too.

Yah, The book isn't that good. It DOES HELP, but if you know a good portion of it already, then it's not worth it.
