Christmas is approaching, and I usually have around $500 around now. This year I have $1,789. I want to buy some stuff, and I was wondering where would I find a cheap 7200 or 6800? or 6600, or even 6200. Reason: I have an old AGP x4 (or x8..cant remember), and it has a 4200 gfx card. Sucks. But it has 2gb ram, a AMD anthlon 3000+, and an awesome case +screen. I dont want it to die, but the gfx card makes it impossible to play the new games. I want to know any DIRECT links online, because I dont have any good local stores. Thanks. I know higher up ones probably dont use AGP (7200, 6800, 6600..probably), but it is worth a try!

since your in north west america or canada why not try "tiger direct" or "new egg" or "pricewatch".
Im pretty sure this is like the 50 biliionth time someone has asked for this kind of information on this site, i wish i was exagggggggggggggerating.

in australia i buy all my parts and clients parts from umart.com.au
$66 or so for a dual layer burner pioneer is a good price if you ask me, cheaper if you buy wholesale and over the intarweb.

you know google is a great web thingy for finding stuff in it, no really it is..

Last Time I tried online, they made you spend exorbint amount of shipping and handling. Even for a 1.2 pund package. Anyway, I guess I could try tiger direct. Thanks.

edit: wow! I already found 5 things for under $400, that make my pc not suck as bad as gas.

I decided on:
Athlon 64 3400+, Nforce4 chipset, 1 gig ram, GeForce 6800 GT, 250gb hd.

It didnt cost more that 500, so I win!

edit: that dreamland is southeast america...

Lol, the combo price was $70, and the cpu was a super-overclockable amd sempron 2600+ (s754). I'm thinking about doing water cooling for this, which will probably give me around 3.1 ghz speed...and if you read some reviews about Sempron overclocking, you'd know that a 3.1 ghz Sempron means business

DON"T USE EBAY! I Swear to god I will NEVER buy computer stuff from that place again. Camcorders maybe, and airsoft defenetly, but from now on, NO MORE COMPUTERS! god, this thing was suposed to have a Sempron 3000= 3GHz, it only runs 1.8!!! and there was also sposed to be a surround sound setup, forgret that! We may just return the mother ****** and get a new one somewherz else (like Fryz or my friends office desk [like when he aint there lol, jk).

I may not be good in school, may not hae had a girl for a while, ma not had a social life in years, BUT I"M STILL THE ONLY ONE IN SCHOOL WHO KNOWS HOW TO MAKE GAMES!!!
