Hey all I have a small question to ask you.

How do I lock another object to another. I want to do collision with one but not have the other detected as if I was using a limb.

All help apreciated.

I'm not quite sure what your asking about. Give us a little more detail and try to explain your situation a little clearer

I'm a little confused by the question aswell but if you're just talking about having an object move with another object as if it were a limb just add a limb to the object, offset it to the position you want the other object to be locked onto, hide the limb, position the object to be locked on at the limb's position every loop, and set it to orient with the object by using SET OBJECT ORIENTATION command.

Not sure if that's what you're looking for but we'll find out soon I guess

I think I know what you mean:

You want some sort of limb, but disable collision for one of the limbs?

or just 'glue' the objects together using the glue functions and turn off collision on required object

Boo!

Well, I forgot to check back on this! I stopped coding for a while because I got a PSP and I was hooked, but i'm back to normal now

Anyways, what I am doing is I have a boat and a fishing rod objects. I want collision to be detected on the fishing rod object but not the boat, but ofcource, I want the fishing rod to move with the boat. How could I do this with code?

Thanks for all that have replied so far.
