Hi guys this has been a long running project for me, this was my noob, first game an rpg. Since then i have revisited twice and only about 5% of the old code has made it this far. But any way i programmed just about all the features and engines, such at battle, menu, cutscene and 2.5d scenes.

any way time to shut up and post the screens:

looking out towards the mainland

hmm hi-potions sound fun

ahh full health

your house needs some more work though

the battle system, works on a tag team style play with 6 character to chose to put in the team
i know none oh this looks that impressive, this is mainly because i'm a programmer not a artist, so any artists wanting to help i will send a demo and they hopefully you can help.

cheers

Well version 1 i started probably 2.5 years and the game was all 3d with real-time battling, ha yeah right i was going to be able to code that. The second version was about 1.25 years age in which i switched to turn based battles. Then version 3 i have been working on for about 2 months, i have switched to prerendered scenes and added more playable characters and magic and weapons.

Sexy models

Unfortunately, I don't even have enough modeling talent to make a stickman like that for my stuff... cause, imho, that's an awesome visual style

haha most of the post have been about boneman, the funny thing is i didn't make boneman he was left from someone who helped me in Version 1 of the game. Sadly i can't remember who but if it was you post back for full credit. any way keep the posts coming, a demo should be soon although i would much rather have at least one artist on board first as some of the scenes have been drawn in paint

This project is a dbc one. It was start in classic and will hopefully finish in classic, i think i tried twice to convert it to pro but as the terrain, which i really like and fits in with the story nicely, was done in magicworld there was no way to convert it.

I think it's more 44 fps, because if it's not, it's very low.

Sorry guys but i think it is actually 14 fps but that is on my laptop which is 800mhz 128mb RAM Intel(R) graphics 32mb

my desktop 2Ghz 384mb RAM Geforce 3 64mb
and its fps was 70
so that clears that up.

so jobs i need are

script coder
3d modeler
2d artist

script coder, this person would need to know the basics of dbc and the print screen button and you need to learn how to use my cutscene and prerendered scene editor and the they would help be with the coding of the scene and story line.

3d modeler, the one everyone ask for so i think by now you know what it intails.

2d Artist, this person would help with huds item pictures and would help me and the other script coder to make the perrendered scene a little more interesting.

i think thats about it, if you are interested post back and i'll send you a copy of what i have done so far.

cheers

Looks much improved, and I remember this from a very long time ago. In fact, you had a different username, but I still have a copy of the old version. Hope you have better luck this time, it's looking very promising.

I'd be willing to try to do some 3d Modeling for you, but keep in mind I started a couple weeks ago, so it would take quite a while per model to make it look alright. But I'm overly willing to try.

cheers Insanity Complex now i need to think of how i'm good to up load the game but i'll send you an .exe with all the media seperate so you can mod that and hopefully a list of other things. The list shouldn't be that long as atm i just want to get a demo out for which most of the modeling is done. ohh and how is your animating .
