I know that you hick, Im asking if there needs to be filesharing or a direct connection or it can be spread by normal instant messenging.

Start->Control Panel->Switch to classic view if you haven't yet, and double click "Sounds and Audio Devices", click the SOUNDS tab
look in that list for AIM stuff or MESSENGER stuff, I know it's possible, my friend's roomate has it do weird sounds whenever someone says something...really annoying.

actually, there is probably something in the AIM program now that I think about it, because my friend's roomate had it play a different sound for different people

but try what I said
