How can I make it so that when I put a certain enity in a trigger zone somwthing apears?

I know how to make things apear but its just trying to connect it all with the enity with the trigger zone. I think it has something to do with the zonekeyactivate script...

Please help

I have tried loads, I need a pro to help me. It must be simple, I just need it so that only the one object can activate the trigger zone. Not Zoneanyactive.

there is a script in the script bank folder that does what you are asking...

its called appearspawn.fpi...and you should have looked for it...

goive that script to the entity you want to spawn, the put a trigger zone or whatever and fill in the ifused feild with the entitys name...

Well, you need to read it again.
What I asked for if something spawns when you put an entity in a trigger zone. And not just any entity a spasific one.

I think the result he's looking for is this:

The player has a crate in-hand. There is a trigger zone that will only create an object when the crate is dropped within the trigger zone.

Like...
a pressure-sensative switch that makes a key! Or something like that.

Well its possible to have any object trigger a zone. I just want 1 spasific object to tigger a zone.

There's someone asking for this in the chat section too, he claims he has seen it done in one of the videos. Haven't seen that video myself, so I can't confirm. It would be cool if someone could pull this off though.

Hmmm...
is there a way to check to see if an object of given name is in the zone? Or is it only possible to check if AN entity is in the zone? (Enemies count as entities too, so if it's any entity that means the enemy could trigger the door too, which would be bad.)

Basically it's one person 'updating'FPSC and adding new features to it, like vehicles, faster framerates and more.

Riker 9 is the answer to all of our problems and bugs.... at least that's what some people seem to think around here. I haven't seen anything mention about the question that was asked here.

Here's the original Riker 9 thread, it's locked but you can still get a lot of info about Riker 9
