For some reason the latest drivers for the G-Force series are WAY screwed up. They cause the computer to crash whenever I try to play ANY form of video. Does anybody have a solution or a (slightly) older driver verson?

I may not be good in school, may not hae had a girl for a while, ma not had a social life in years, BUT I"M STILL THE ONLY ONE IN SCHOOL WHO KNOWS HOW TO MAKE GAMES!!!

You can get older versions from the nVidia driver page in their archive, but I have no problems with a Geforce 7800GTX using them.

Check your directx installation etc.

Yep, doen that and a whole bunch of other shizzle. called nVidia even, and (duh) no help.

I've got the latest nvidia drivers for my Gforce 6800 and they've actually solved more problems then they've caused!

i got 81.85 winxp drivers for my 6600gt.

the problem i have is that when i start my computer, and it goes to the loading screen, the monitor stay black for like 20 secounds.

with the 7x.xx driver this did not happen

No driver set will ever solve all the problems, but most of the problem I was having with the 78.## drivers have gone with the 81.85 drivers. The problem I've got with the card is it doesn't run the 6800 nvidia demos very well, this is purely due to the fact it's an APGx8 card not PCI-E.

check your cards "Manufacturer" Drivers in case you have a card that needs a slightly different version

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 
