We have designed a quadraped creature with animations in Milkshape, exported it to x format with Fragmotion, modified the x file a bit and it appears in FPS just fine.

The problem is as soon as it's animation loops once it dissappars off the screen.

We assume we need some type of script to attach to it to keep it in the level so we can put it on a path, etc.

Does anyone know how to write a script to keep it in the level?
If we can get that far we can add ai and stuff to it by studying other scripts perhaps.

Well, you kinda have to set up the animations correctly... the animations are incorrectly set up, so it plays blank when there is no animation... hard to explain.... edit the FPE.

ya...dont leave out any blank frames...make sure the frames are exact in the fpe...

and its a good idea to keep the animation numbers the same as the default.

Thanks, I'll open up an existing fpe and see how they do it.
