At last we can rejoice that the page selection drop-down listbox has moved to its rightful place on the left of "of"

It made so much sense there... now to go to the last page I can't just click "Go".

Hehe. I remmeber when that was first put in. Everybody wanted it changed

I also remember the time when forum posts didn't show blue when they were new. My god. I am old.

What on earth has this got to do with "I've got new mail" ?

Anyone?!

David - yeah functionally it was always in the right place *before* I changed it last night. So to restore that I've added the 'last' button for you.

Good. At first I was wondering what this thread was about. I thought my english wasn't good enough. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who didn't get the relationship between title and content.

In the US, there is (or used to be) a show on Comedy Central TV network called "Crank Yankers", in which puppets would make prank phone calls. One of the skits involved an old man who just got his first computer and AOL. The old man is on the phone with some computer tech person, and he keeps saying, "I've got mail! I've got mail! I've got mail, yaaayyyyy!". Repeat add nausia.

This relates to the content of the thread in no way whatsoever, I was just in a goofy mood.

Or if you prefer that there be some connection, "I've got mail" rhymes with "Let's go sail", and as we all know, a sail is made from fabric. Fabric softener smells good, and the adjective "good" is what you might use to describe the change to the drop-down list-box. And there you have it.

Oh yeah, I got mail to. I went out driving for a cup of coffee and spilled it on my dashboard. I've never seen anything catch fire so quickly .
