This is a 2d game you play as a space ship and you
avoid asteroids longer you stay alive , more score you have


this is the first(free version)-be free to download it
but i have made the secound version (COOL 3d GRAPHICS
SHOOTING , SOUND EFFECTS AND ALL)
and that version i am going to sell.

Nope, its made in GM, not made to look like its made in GM. Everything from the loading screen, the default icon, the weird looking msgboxes, the WINDOWED highscores table(impossible to do in DB without using a DLL), and the fact that pressing f4 lets you switch from fullscreen to windowed(gm default) suggests that this was made in GM.

However, if you really did write it in DB/DBP, then how did you store the highscores without writing to an external file?

you ever heard of certain folder that`s called MY DOCUMENTS?
and i`m not going to argue about is it made in gm or db so...
did you liked it?

The game itself actually kept me busy for a few minutes (kinda fun for a simple game) However, i simply said it wasn't made in DB. I didn't try to start an argument with you, and nothing is gonna happen to you if you just admit u didn't know this board was TGC only, ur a new user after all.

ok it`s in gm so : gm doesn`t have this kind of forum`s
and i`m sory but i think you aren`t newcomer so i thing
you shoudn`t use this forum , i mean you recognize
gm , you know all posibilities of db?.
whatsoewer i have a few games in gm i know this isn`t the
rate place but i want to make people have fun , nothing else.
i mean i made id within 20 min . coud db do it ?

Dude could you try a little harder when you are typing your words? Anyway, why did you bother hiding the fact it was made in GM? This is the Geek Culture board so that kind of thing would be acceptable (I guess). Just don't try to passs it off as a TGC product.

i meant : it`s hard to make (at least in dbc) accelerating to
the left when you click left , and right when going right.
it`s maby possible in db too , but i mean how long wood it take in
db -Couple of days , week , month . i made it in 15 - 20 mins

No, would you like to tell me what is it becouse I live in finland and i am using finnish windows, what on earth is that?? I only have "Omat tiedostot" ja "Jaetut tiedostot"... It works still windowed?

Took all of 5 seconds, I understand you're new but with a little practise at programming it wouldn't take much time at all to come up with something like that.

Also note that just because someone isn't new doesnt mean they cant post in the newcommers board, it is usually the most acceptable board to post any questions about programming, no matter what your rank, though sometimes the question may belong in Dark Basic or Dark Basic Proffesional.

Anyhoo goodjob eitherway, just tell us if it was made in GM if it was made in GM, no big deal.

How about you write something in DBC or DBPro, and then post it here in the DarkBASIC Newcomers Corner?

Also, please stop posting offers of tutorials, coding help, code writing, boasts of commercial game etc, at least until you show us that you can actually code. No-one will take you seriously until you do, least of all me.
