Hi

I'm working on a little application, were you are able to play around with the ODE Physic. It's easy! You only need to make some objects then place them and start the physic! You will now see all the placed objects reacting realistick(sometimes, ODE have some problems here and there).

I'm not very far with this little project yet, but as it is now you can still play around with the physics. I would like some feedback while the program is in the early stages. I will hear on any features you would like to see in it, and if you find a bug then please report it

Here you got some screenshots:

Making a little tower (looks like it could fall apart every second) :

An object falling:

Well, here you got the current features:

*Make,place,Delete,scale,color and texture objects
*Select between your objects
*Use the physics

And the planned features:

*Save your project
*Load your project
*Make the "Stop Physic" button work
*Make a physic settings window
*FreeFlight Camera
*Features requestet by users

Know issues:

*If you click the "Stop Physic" button, the program will crash
*Rotating the object will make the control of it strange
*If you first scale an object to lets say 100,100,100 and make a new object and scale that
one to 100,50,100. If you then return to the old object it will be scaled from 100,100,100
to 100,50,100.

There aren't really any help documentations, but the program should be pretty straight forward anyway
The Readme file contains information about the controls.

You can add and place objects while the physic are running When you're ready to let the new objects into the physic world just hit the "Start Physics" button again

You can download ODE Physic Playground by clicking the download button in this post.

ODE Physic Playground Pioneer
Congrats.. that's good so far..

There is a new issue there but I'm not gonna tell because maybe it is an ODE issue
that nobody could do anything about it..

Or maybe it is because I'm familiar to Newton

Suggested features:
_A controlable object (for interactivity perspective)..
_Set up for friction, elasticity, softness and collidable objects..
.Using customizable materials..

I'm not one of the best people to talk about ODE.. I just tested the basic commands..

It would be cool to see this app finished..
Good luck on this, The Nerd.. that's cool..

@dabip ______ vgm:

As i wrote in the thread, don't use the stop physic button, as it will cause the program to crash

@Louiz ofRohr

Thanks for the nice comment!
I like your ideas for the program! And i will try to add some of them especially A controlable object
