All over the news this morning and in all the papers, police arrested 9 men in both Sydney and Melbourne suspected of planning terrorist attacks:

A job well done, if you ask me.

Yeah, was a good job. I saw some disturbing images in tv though, some supporters of the terrorists were beating up this camera man while another camera man filmed them.

Guys, stop the burning coals before it starts flaming

This is good news. I can't imagine all the times the bad guys are stopped before they make their move, unbeknownst to the public.

frankly i hated that report on channel 7, was the most blatant fear mongering piece of journalism I have ever witnessed ont v, i can't wait fo rmedia watch on monday. Seriously I hate terrorists just as much as teh next guy, but boy did they cut the "spiritual leader"'s interview to their liking, "He made hsi thoughts clear earlier in the year with this interview >> "Osama bin laden, uh, he is a great man--" and then this "Jihad is part of my religion--" . Each time they cut it just as he was about to say something else, i mean really I can say hitler is a great man as he was able to become dictator of a country and start an entire world war, I don't support his views but he became very powerful. And jihad is part of the muslim religion, from what i recall the word means holy war, it doesn't mean terrorism, just as teh crusades are part of the christian religion, doesn't mean we are all gonna go on a crusade, or are we now with this threat of terrorism. And as for the camera man bit all they filmed was teh camera man already being bashed and the muslims being foul mouthed afterwards. Thing is they didn't sho wbefore the fight, the cameraman prolly slagged off the guys as they were coming out of the court, which they usually do in these sorts of cases cause they goad the guys into fights with teh crew so they get footage that make them look bad, thats a serious tactic it's pretty disgusting, honestly though i HATE the news now, I've been watching media watch and it shows just how tasteless our media are here. And f anyone asks no I'm not muslim im a skip and I am against terrorism and hope that these arrests were worthwhile, my main argument is against teh report channel 7 did

edit: wow just read the bit that channel 7 didn't cover in depth, they said an officer was shot in the hand and a alleged terrorist in teh neck, here is what the age said>
Quote: "Another man was shot as he fled one of the Sydney raids. Omar Baladjam, a spray painter and former actor who had minor roles in TV series including Home and Away - fired twice at police before being struck in the neck by return fire, police said."

lol he was in home and away! talk about infiltrating someones country and setting up a cover, why didn't the family think of that in the latest 24 season
